Play umd without updating
I found my old PSP and its the 1000 one and i couldn't play birth by sleep without updating my system. depending on what you want donne there is two ways to change the systm software one to phisicly change the software that the psp runs and the second is where you change just what the system software says on the psp fore the first try the sony site and for the second i cant help you goo luck and u could also try updating with the psp network update under settings On a PSP, this would usually be when new firmware (Operating Software) is installed on your PSP.
